Network Card

I new at this and learning I have been unsuccessfull in getting the Windows NT4.0 serverwith SP 6 to be seen through a 10/100 Linksys hub. The card in the server is a Linksys NE2000. I have tried 3com 3C9058 -TX and I can not get the server to see the card. and I cant get the server to be seen. any help would be great.

Have you checked the drivers or utilities which came with the card? With some cards you have to run an utility first, and after that install the card.

There must be the problem of IRQ clashing. you have to check first the free IRQ, then check for the PCI slot irq sharing in Mainboard Manual IF the slot u r using is sharing IRQ with othe Slot . then check for the independant
IRQ using slot for ur NIC
Try it and confirm.
