Hi,

When I run lanscan I can see 3 lan cards, and they are all showing up and running. When checked with SAM, two external cards are running and one internal card is disabled. Which is correct, and that is what we want, but the confusion between the output from lanscan and the SAM output. Is there anyway we can de configure the internal network card and somehow make it to show down when a lanscan is done. We are running HPUX 11 64bit on a K570.

Regards

If you edit /etc/rc.config.d/netconf, and set the "INTERFACE_STATE" variable to =down. The next time you boot, the card will show down.

Hope this helps.
