I've been having problems setting up my home network on 3 PC (2 wireless, 1 wired) using a DL-624+ router.

All have IP scheme of 192.168.0.100-2, all have access to internet but non can ping the other two on LAN. When I ping via host name instead of IP ie 192.xxxx it does resolves to the correct IP to ping but still results in time outs instead of the usual can't find host name message.

No firewall, no encryption, resetted the router to factory settings and made sure ICMP response for WAN ping is allowed, running WindowXP pro.

Can someone shed me some light?

I believe you need to set your router to allow communication on the 192.168.0.0 network. This allowed me the functionality via my d-link although an older model(614).

ok, I unpluged all cards uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled driver and cards resetted the router... Now it's working like usual ... Still don't know what is going on before but it's fixed now.
