Hi All,

I have 2x Option 61C's which i am installing in a hospital. For extra resilience they want half of the extensions to go on each machine. The extensions for each room will be split across the 2 systems. e.g. in a room of 4 phones, 2 will be off one 61, and 2 will be off the other. The hospital require that the 4 phones will be able to call pickup each others calls.

The systems are to talk to each other using h323, sig servers etc across a dedicated network.

I know that network call pickup is supported by Nortel over a DPNSS route, but i cannot see anywhere in the documentation that tells me that it is supported/works over IP/MCDN.

Does anybody have the knowledge/experience to say that this feature is available in the way that i am setting up the system??

Thanks for your time,

Sean.

i've used it between tdm and voip sets and that worked. i had a area bell (analog station) for my nite number, sales personal had voip wireless and did a pick to answer after hours calls.. sounds like it should work, but i would have to test it before i made any claims. very smart company, i've sugested that with customers that worry about down time. not the voip side but fiber remotes between sites

Did you guys ever get an answer to this? I am trying to do the same thing through virtual trunks, but it doesn't seem to work.
