We have a BCM400 and BCM50 network together using E&M. Calls can get through back and forth. Our problem is that we don't see the calling party's extension. When an ext from the BCM400 calls to an ext in the BCM50, we only see that Line number that was use to transfer the call. We had set up the BCM400 extensions to be 2xxx while exts on the BCM50 are 3xxx. What we did to network the two is to just defined destination codes 2 and 3 on each side and route it to the T1 between the two. We are not using any CDP or MCDN to network the two. Could that be a reason why we are not getting any call display? I also just found out that on the BCM400 side, we are only getting a display of 333 when for example ext 3311 calls to an ext on the BCM400.

In addition to this all Incoming calls to the BCM50 comes across the PRI on the BCM400 then redirected to the BCM50's Voicemail (Auto Attendant) through a T1, we also can't see the incoming caller on the BCM50 extention. Is there anything that we are missing here, I hope you guys can help us out on this.

You can't get caller ID/CPND over E&M trunks between two BCM's. There isn't any D-channel to carry that info. You can add the MCDN keycodes to both systems, convert the T-1 to a SL-1 PRI and then you'll get name, caller ID, etc across the link.
