I have a supplier telling me they are installing a 42 unit high network cabinet.

But just how many holes high will that be?

How many holes do you count as 1 unit.

I have cabinets with 74 holes, so how many units is that?

Please help, thanks.

1 Rack Unit = 1.75 inches = 3 holes (they are staggered, depending on the item being mounted you will use the top and bottom holes leaving the center hole unused, or the center hole leaving the top and bottom unused.)
