Network Browsing

I have a G3 running OS 8.6. Brand new install. When I go to chooser to attach to a share, I can't browse, I am forced to enter an IP address. The NIC is onboard.
It is receiving the same DHCP info as the other MAC's that are able to browse.

How do I enable browsing in chooser?

You ISP may be limiting the number of NIC cards you can have active. I'd buy a Mac if I could afford one.

This is for business lan browsing. We have Mac/Win mix and the other Mac's can browse fine.

Go to the appletalk control panel. Make sure appletalk is active and going out through your ethernet port.
