Network Browsing Through IE6

Okay,if a user on my network uses a file:// structure in IE6 (some do to test their local website, or this appears when they double-click on their newly-created website), IE6 then shows the entire network through the drop-down box in the address bar. Short of turning off the address bar (something I have no desire to do), how can I switch off this drop-down or stop it showing the network?
