Hello:

I have a Windows 2003 Server and network with about 200 PC's. When I go to Network Neighborhood, I only see the server and 3 laptops that are on the network.
I researched this and made the change to the registry to make the server the master browser, but this hasn't worked.

I have 2 other networks (different domains) and everything is fine.

Any ideas, I am at a loss..

Thanks,
Tim

Is it possible you have the Computer Browser service disabled on your computers?

Nope, checked that already......good idea though...

Also make sure that NetBIOS over TCP/IP is enabled.

Once you have located the master browser you can try restarting the service or stopping it on that box which should force an election with another box becoming the master.

This may be a stupid answer, but the subnet mask of the server was 255.255.0.0 and the network is a class c (255.255.255.0)

Changing the mask to C (255.255.255.0) and restarting the browsing service SEEMS to have fixed the problem, though I can 't say for sure, but the clients have populated Network Neighborhood.

Nope not a stupid answer.. you just solved your own problem.
