We have a potential customer that has 7 BCM systems 50, 200, and 400 and software from 3.6 to 4.0 all over the world. They would like to slowly upgrade each site to IP office. They would like to keep their station to station dialing operational during the switch over. Is it possible to network a BCM 50 to IP office other than fxs to fxo converters?

I have a 6.0 RLS BCM and I am able to SIP trunk extensions between an IP Office and BCM. The problem is that each system needs its own dialing plan.....can get dicey....I am sure some more multi office posters can add better feedback....

Even though some of you will tell me to shut up, I will bring up the E-Metrotel Cavet.... if you went that route, you could purchase one UCx450 which acts as the main hub, and convert all of the BCM's to digital gateways operating directly off the UCx450 at a Central location. They also have the SRG capability as well. You can keep your phones and then establish one central dialing plan between the offices. You can also migrate to IP phones very easily.

Keep pushing it. It's a far superior solution to the IP Office for people with existing Nortel equipment.
