Customer with four sites; one 450 and three MICS 6.1's. All have their own voice T1, three digit extensions, and their data networks are all tied in with Fiber. We are not going to have any point to point T1's. Notwithstanding, My goal is to tie the four switches together for some type of four digit IP trunking between sites. What would I need?

voip trunk keycodes
mcdn keycode
change all sites to a minimum of 4 digit extensions which will mean redoing the vmail if it's currently set to 3 digits.
Separate the network into a voice vlan and a data vlan.

The Norstar IP gateway will give you 4 analog truns that is converted to H.323. Newer models also may support SIP. With this setup don't bother with MCDN as the gateways don't support name display. They do support a single name (i.e. a site name) but not the name on the set making the call. Obviously, you will need an analog DS or CI trunk card on the MICS and 4 H.323 trunks per gateway on the BCM. Other SIP gateways are available and will have SIP capability.
