Ok, I have a 2621 router and two 3550s. I got a T1 and users are complaining of slow network connection... How can I know which resource is consuming the most bandwidth on my network... I got into the switch and started checking for the interfaces to see the packets... Is there another way so I can give a report of who is consuming the most bandwitdth??? Thanks

You can configure span session on your switch on port which is connected to the router. Then you can attach pc with appropriate software to the monitored port and measure banwidth.

For example, use iptraf to measure bandwidth in real time and mrtg for daily/weekly statistics.

A simple MRTG setup will give u bandwidth statistics for all ports on those devices so you can determine who is hogging bandwidth. (If it is caused by someone hogging)
