I have n/alc ver2.2(1072)
VMpro.
At 5 o clock when system goes into night service any incoming calls that
have been routed via AA to an extension are disconnected from current call and replayed the night AA message.
Can anyone explain why?

Do you mean an existing call in progress, if so, how can it be disconnected and reconnected, the calling party would have to redial???

Yes a current incoming call dealt with by the aa(please dial the ext you require) is routed via blind xfer to the ext you dialled. At 5 o clock while still on that i/c call
the connection to the internal party is dropped and the external caller is played the night aa(closed, please dial the ext you require),you can then dial the internal ext no and get reconnected.

Oh, ok, so the call is not actually disconnected fromn the ISDN network, but re routed thru the AA
No idea why sorry, software bug, new feature??

You need to make sure the Time Service Profiles do not overlap i.e 09:00 to 18:00 then 18:01 to 23:59. You must not have the Time Profile as 09:00 to 18:00 then 18:00 to 23:59. This is will be the problem.

suspect a cfg error! you cannot overlap time profiles 08:00-17;00, 17:01 onwards. Have tested on a default cfg and this does not happen, so look at the cfg and test in your lab!

time profiles are not overlapped, have checked and rechecked configs it is all set up ok and has been working for 3 years
the call is an unassisted xfer from vm.
HOW CAN THE VM GET THE CALL BACK????????

if it is an unasisted transfer & not answered it will eventualy recall back to the original start point.
if this is now in N/S then the caller will get the N/S msg.

I suspect every one is taking ther phone out of group, logging off or just not answering the phone as soon as it is clocking off time causing this problem.

Use an assisted tfer then the call will stay with the VM & can be controlled untill it is answered.

mr guru,
read the thread again.
this is a connected call that has benn xferred via the transfer result.
How can the vm get the call back?????????????
