Can someone please answer the following question?

What does it mean when the LED of the a network adapter stays green even with the computer turned off.

Thanks.

PS. This question has to do with a problem that I am having in my office in one of the computers. I just can't get it to connect to my office network and I don't know if am having network problems or my network adapter isn't working that good.

It means that adapter supports "WOL" or Wake-On-Lan. You can usually disable this in the BIOS.
