Network access

I have a LAN network in office using lan cards and a switch
I have using Windows XP 2003. There is no Server.
Some time i found problem that some one computer could not acces to second computer Showing the dialog box Enter the passward.But second computer can access one computer.

Pls inform me soultion

AT Same time
Computer 1 ----(Cant Access)-------------------> Computer 2
Computer 2 ----(Can Access)-------------------> Computer 1

I would first start by disabling any firewall you have in place. Windows XP inherently blocks file and print sharing so under the security center assure that it is enabled. then create an account on both machines with the same username and password exactly.

When you say "can access" is this by name or IP address?
