Network access related

Hi,

I have a Maxtor external HDD connected to a Linksys Network storage link which gives an ethernet connectivity to my USB HDD. I connect to the linksys device using static IP Addresses. I configured my laptop as 192.168.1.151 and the linksys device already has a static IP Address of 192.168.1.77. Everything works great and have been able to access the HDD this way through my ethernet cable.

I also have a MN-720 Wireless G card which use to connect to my wireless router to access internet. When connected alone to the Wireless network, I am able to access the Internet. But the moment I connect the ethernet cable to my laptop, I am able to access only the linksys device but I am not able to access the internet. I am not able to ping names as well as IP Addresses on the internet.

Can anybody of u please let me know amsolution to this. I want to access my Statically configured external HDD through Linksys device and the Internet at the same time.

Also, when I connect to both and do IPConfig from command prompt, it gives me two IP Addresses. One is my static IP Address and the other is the IP Address given by my router. But still nothing happenns.

Can anybody please help.
