HP Netserver TC2110, HP Surestore DAT24i, Netware 6, ARCServe 7. 1 or 2 minutes after backup starts, the server reboots. Any suggestions welcome!

I take it no errors are logged either in ARCH$SVR.LOG or ABEND.LOG as to why this happens? Could be hardware related. Lets start from the beginning:

a) What SCSI ID is the tape drive set to?

b) Where is it connected to on the server?

c) What version of ARCSERVE.NLM are you running? (To find out, type MODULES ARCSERVE at the console)

d) Have you installed any Support Packs onto your NetWare 6 installation? -----------------------------------------------------

Had some difficulty writing this answer. In the mean time a lot has happened. The tape drive and the harddisk was connected to the same cable. So I connected the tape drive to another SCSI channel. Also we put in some extra RAM. It seems to do some good, at least the server doesnt reboot. And the backup seems to be running smooth. So... never put the damn thing on the same SCSI channel as the harddisk.
