Netware 4 has been installed on a compaq proliant 1500, originally using smart start 2.40. Scsi drive 2 failed and replaced with new drive and when the server is rebooted the array see's the new drive and starts the re-build in Dos. However when Netware has loaded all NLM's it puts the re-build in a delay queue. How can I change this to carry on re-building the new drive.

I have allready tried by unloading the NLM's in the NCF and only letting the volumes mount or keeping the server only in Dos on start up. Will this only let the array build the dos partition and not netware?

You should allow the Raid array to rebuild using Compaq RAID Utilities. Once the RAID Arry has been rebuilt, then allow NetWare to come up.

Are you using Hardware RAID or software RAID? -----------------------------------------------------
