netware.... attempted to use an unencrypted password call

Hi there,

Got a Novell 5.x server with a w2000pro client.
When a user uses a administration-application working on a Btrieve-database the server beeps and gives this error.

I don't get this error when logging in.
all other apps works fine.

Sometimes working on this machine with the admin app the workstation locks up and the nw5 server then holds the user "logged in" with some files of the admin-app.
