Netware 6 server hangs when loading support pack

Hello all, I have just upgraded a netware 5.1 server to 6, no problem. I then loaded support pack 5 and had all kinds of issues due to files not being consistent etc... long story short, I re-ran the upgrade and all is well now in terms of the server and running just fine. When I attempt to load the new support pack 5 or even 3 from nwconfig the server just hangs on a specific screen everytime. Usually the only place on the support pack load that is slow is when it is backing up the previous files. Any ideas anyone?

It hangs on an nwconfig screen at 0% and it says searching for and stopping installed products and underneath it shows some of the products it is looking for and trying to stop I guess but it shows bordermanager, console one, edir .......

The server does not run border manager either. I don't know what is going on with it. I tried removing the previous attempted spack but it still shows up in nwconfig. I have tried deleting the nwupdate directory so that it starts all over but still no success. I have also ensured that the sys vol has space and it does, it is currently 43% full.

What you could do is REM out everything in the AUTOEXEC that is not critical to getting the server up and running.. Then you won't have to worry about things hanging while the spack install is trying to stop the processes. Also make sure that nobody is accessing anything on the server. Then run the SPack install and see if it works.. Also, you should be able to toggle the screen to either the console screen or the logger screen and find out exactly what is failing....
