Hello

I am new to netware, but I was following step by step manuals.
I am trying to install netware 6 but the problem is when I reach the grafical part of the installation, the compuer hangs NO keyboard or Mouse is working and I can not carry on.
If any one can help me.

First make sure you are using the SP2 overlay CD for your install. Many bug fixes inteh install are in that overlay CD. Next, what kind of hardware are you trying to use? Just for giggles, replace your video card. I had freeze issues with a 5.1 install when it got to the GUI, after much mucking around with other things I replaced the video card and that fixed my problem. Turned out to be a faulty video memory chip. Brent Schmidt CNE, Network +

Why do user go into a panic when a NetWare server goes down, but accept it as normal when a Windows server goes down?

I had this happen to me on a Gateway system I was testing NW6 on. I'm pretty sure it was a hardware. Either it was incompatible with NW6 or there was a bad part in the system.

Thanks Provogeek,
As I told you I am new to Netware, the CD that I am using is Netware 6 eval which I donnloaded from Novell Site, so does the service pack included?
