Hi Folks, I need to know if anyone has experience networking to NW 6 and NW3.12 from the same workstations. We are installing new NW6 servers, but we can't do all the servers at once and some users need to login to the old 3.12 and the new NW6 at the same time. Can the new Client for Netware be configured to recognize the old servers?
All workstations are Win98. Network is mixture of TCP/IP and IPX. Thanks

Try in a dos window:

Login /b 3.12ServerName\UserName

that should get you into an old bindary server.

Yes, I am currently running NW6 and NW3.12 servers and able to log into both of them simultaneously from Win98SE workstations using the latest client with either IPX or TCP/IP. You shouldn't have any problems trying to do this.
