Netware 6.5 Eval Version-Installation Problems

This is the situation:

We've bought the PowerEdge 2850 Server( DELL Power Edge 2850 for Rack Mount, XEON Processor 2.8 Ghz, 2Gb Memory, Embedded RAID - PERC4 Embedded Integrated, 146 GB Hard Disk SCSI 10K), and now i need to prove to My Company President that we NEED to buy a Upgrade for Novell (Novell for Small Bussines 6.5) with 25 user licenses, to do that, i've downloaded the Eval Version of Netware 6.5, i burned CD's, and i've tryed to Install on Server...... but Oh My! ...i Can't ...... The Server goes into a loop before i can even get the intital procedures. I followed all instructions from Dell Server Magnegement's CD and Instructions from Novell and ...Nothing.

I sent you a video of the installation's run and 3 pictures of it.

Anyone have a hint about it??? Please Help me, im really worried =(.

It seems like there is an issue with an interrupt. Do you have a Dell CD that can do hardware analysis on it? Maybe shuffling the interrupts around will fix it.

I can't d/l the pics from rapidshare, can you post the errors here?

I've got NW 6.5 running on 2 2850's with identical specs as yours (except 2 procs and 4 GB ram). I've had no problems.

Are you loading SBS or vanilla Netware?

Sometimes Dell will ship a server before the RAID has finished initializing. Letting the box run overnite usually cures that.

If you're using the DELL cd to start the install, it may be writing an Unattended script out there along with different drivers (that may be older than what you want).

Try installing by skipping any DELL Stuff (Wipe out any partitions on the system), and boot from the Netware 6.5 SP5 Overlay CD#1 and install from there. It will be much cleaner in my opinion.

Ok *sstoppel* i did it, but wasn't work.

*LawnBoy* i was trying to Install the Free Evaluation Novell Netware 6.5.

*marvhuffaker* Thanks Marvin, that's working !!!! i've Downloaded Netware 6.5 SP5 Overlay CD#1 and i've install it, was running fine, but later it asked to me to insert Disk 2 Products, i did, then started to fail to copy some files from that CD, i selected skip 3 of them, then it asked me to insert License Diskette, where can i download or ask to novell for the temporal licenses ???
