Netware 6.5 Binding problem

Hi

Iam trying to install an evauluation copy of Netware 6.5 and am having a real problem with when it tries to bind an IP address to the card

It recognises the card in previous stages of the installation but when I tick that I want IP only and enter an IP address and subnet gateway, it gives the following error:

"Error binding IP to DLk_530. Make sure that this card IP Address is not already in use"

Can anybody help

Sounds like you may have an IP address that is in use somewhere else.. Check for duplicates.

Also, there WAS a tid about this on Q57/B57 NIC's that was a problem with the driver... ANd it should have been fixed with later drivers.

Are you installing with NetWare 6.5 SP5 Overlay? or the Original? You should use the SP5 Overlays.
