I have installed a NetWare 5 server on our token ring network all of which went well. However, I need to connect an AppleMac network running on an ethernet segment which connects to the token ring network via a router to access a volume on the NetWare 5 server. I will be using IP as the comms protocol, I can ping the Macs from the NetWare side but have a problem from the AppleMac side. I noticed that NetWare 4.11 caters for AppleMacs what facilities does NetWare 5 provide and how do I achieve my goal?

I believe that you will need to purchase NetWare for MAC. This was included with NetWare 4.x but is an addon in NetWare 5.x.

Prosoft Engineering has the MAC Client for Netware 5. Novell no longer supports MAC themselves. This only works with later versions of MAC OS.
