We converted most of IT's Clients to IP only...but now RCONSOLE does not work...How do I get the console back??

Thanks,

d1onysus

You have to load RConsoleJ which is a Java utility that uses IP. To use RConsoleJ, first you must enable the server to use it. To do this (and add this to your AUTOEXEC.NCF), type

LOAD RCONAG6 password 2034 16800

where password is ... your password. Note the case is sensitive.

The workstation utility is located in SYS:pUBLIC\MGMT\CONSOLEONE\1.2\RCONJ.EXE and must be run from a mapped drive (eg Z:) and not UNC *rg \\SERVER\SYS\PUBLIC etc...)

rosiebsdad...do you have to modify the autoexec.ncf to get this program to work correctly? I don't have anything in the server list when I run the rconip.exe...
