We recently installed a SAN on our network and currently have 2 Netware 5.1 Servers attached. When the servers were first setup Clustering Software was not installed on the Servers. Does anyone know if we will have to recreate the volumes? Any help/ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Netware 5.1 Clustering Software Setup on SAN

The volumes must be NSS. If the volumes are on the SAN stoorage then you will be able to cluster them. I would highly recommend moving to Netware 6 for the clustering. The NSS for nw5.1 doesn't support a whole host of things, compression, tts, user limits.
You can upgrade 5.1 cluster to 6 although documenation says you can't. It is a fairly easy process but typing it in will take a fair amount of time.
