Hi there

Here is my problem

It seems so simple yet I am having such a problem getting help.

I have a Netware 5.1 server(s) running Ethernet_II on a remote network. (My network has a link and I can ping the address from my Windows 2000 PC)

I want to be able to see this 5.1 tree and not just my local Netware 4.11 tree that I see at the moment. (I am not interested in the current 4.11 tree anyhow)

I have exhausted the obvious such as changing the Frame type to Ethernet_II and changing the Protocols as well.

How do I view this remote tree in My Network Places?

Please Help me

Thanks

You could try adding an entry to the workstations HOSTS file - the entry name would be the tree name and the IP Address would be the NetWare 5.1 server. Might work??

Cheers

Adding SLP to the server and an entry to the HOSTS file seemed to do the trick.
