Hi guys

Sorry to put a lame newby question on you...

Its a fresh installation of netware 5.0
using dos 6.22 to boot
system (a) has over 128mb Ram, and has run as a work station without problem for 18 months under windows

System (b) has over 500mb ram and is my current work station.
Both systems fail at exactly the same point of installation with " error 0x40000001 load order template stage 0 "
with reference to insufficent memory..

Any clues please

Ps
Done all the files=40 buffers=30 stuff in config.sys!!
do i have a duff novell CD??
or duff ram in both systems :(
does Novell run on AMD cpu's ??

I would be greatfull for ANY input

TIA Fraz (AMD800)

This is very useful...thank you...

But the problem is regarding a fresh installation. Before the “GUI interface”
There are no files present on the hard drive only the novel.tmp and dos 6.22
And the error message is very specific about the amount of system ram available ie below 64mb
