How do I change the username that comes up in the Win95 Novell client logon screen? It keeps defaulting to 'admin" which I used to install windows.
Almost positive there's a registry entry change that you can make to not show the last user's name who logged in on that computer. Just not sure exactly what it is right now - something under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Network\Logon maybe...? Should be able to find it by browsing Microsoft's site.
Once you log in, right click your red "N" in the sys-tray-->Properties. Select Default-->Profile (can't remember off hand if it's Default profile or Advanced) either way, poke around in there. Remove the name that appears (in your case ADMIN).
I have a couple of PC's used for dialup connections for a few users. I chose to leave the name area blank. This way, both the user name and PW fields are both blank when the user(s) see the Novell Login.
