Netware 4.10 upgrade to 5.1 with Btrieve 6.15 1

Have a Netware server running version 4.10 and Btrieve 6.15.
We are planning to upgrade to Netware 5.1 and I can't afford to lose ANY data in Btrieve 6.15. (Shop Floor 24x7)

Suggestions, recommendations. What have you found to work ? What steps must be taken for success ??

Make sure you have a good backup of data and nds, place a R/W replica onto this server if you have not done so already. Do a full NDS health check and then the upgrade.

I am really looking for more information as it relates to Netware 5.1 and Btrieve 6.15. I have also posted this thread over on the Pervasive board.
I have been reading mixed review about Btrieve 6.15 working (or Not) in a Netware 5.1 environment.

Any comments or suggestions slanted towards that would be appreciated.

From my experience, BTRieve does work, so it should not be a problem. Setup a test 4.11 box and upgrade to 5.1 and go from there. Thats the best solution in regards to testing pervasive.

Actually in the forums here, just browse through them and you should find a tip on Migrating from NW 4.11 to Netwre 5.1

Its basically some tidbit info from Novell's backline engineers in regards to having a R/W replica and making sure that if you are using client 2.5 to upgrade to the newest client version etc etc
