Netview database import utility

I am currently running Netview v5r1 over AIX 4.3.3. There is a utility that we use to import object field values into NetView object database via a script. The application is called "nvdbimport". Can I port this application directly over to HP/UX 11.0 and make it work? If not is there some other way to accomplish the same results in HP Openview?
