How can we see that the upgrade with SP1 was succesful?

We implemented an autoupgrade with the autoupgrade function from mcafee. But I don't like to check all NT servers for the logfile for a completed upgrade.
Is there a regestry key or something with info about the version and sp?

Thanks in advance

Jos Kauling

check the date of the mcshield.exe, february on the modified date is pre sp1, and I think sp1 is june... thats how.. js error; 67 on line; 36 of signature.class

When I have to check the mcshield.exe we must check over 300 fileservers. Is there a better way??????

no there is not a better way... although it you check one or 2 I would bet they are all the same... FatesWebb

if you do what I suggested it is not my fault...

When we upgraded our servers to netshield sp1 we used a perl script to verify the installation was successfull, it wrote back to a text file on a server we directed it to if the file was the correct date, and to an error text file if not.
Another possibility is to use SMS to count the differing versions.
If you have Epolicy orchestrator it will show you the different versions installed on your network in the report tool. B-)
