I have a NetServer LP 1000R and I recently replaced the backplane board. Everything was working fine until a hdd went out. When I put the new drive in, it begins to rebuild the drive, but does not finish. LED light goes to solid red. Anyone have any ideas to what the problem might be???

Also, does anyone have any useful links for NetServer support documents??

Thanx in advance,

I don't know about your problem, but check the most inexpensive first. I replaced two backplanes from an LP200r several times before realizing that the scsi cables (about .50¢ each) where messed up. Anyway here's a link to an HP site with some documentation on the LP1000r. Oh and by the way... get rid of that crap dude! :)
