NetServer LH 3000r U3 1GHz - reasonable training box?

Hi All

I was wondering about this one as a play unit for my AIS studies. Would you be able to get a 6i controller into it. Can I configure the array different ways? What sort of RAM does it take - if I can get it up to 2 GB relatively cheaply - might turn it into a vmware box. Will the current version of insight manager run on it?

And what internal batteries should I look out for? Eg. controller backup battery?
