Hi,
I've downloaded the NetScroll / NetScroll+/
NetScroll+Eye(West Version) driver (file named NS+W.exe) from Genius's site
( run the exe under NT 4.0 SP6,
answered yes to restart my computer and then guess what, after the reboot
when that dialog appeared saying press Ctrl-Alt-Del to login, there was no
way I could login. I mean I pressed Ctrl-Alt-Del a thousand times, in all
combinations possible, at different strengths and different ordering (like
press Ctrl hard, wait 2 secs, press Alt harder , wait 2^i (i=1,..,
234234234) seconds and press Del gently, and so on ). After a hardware
reset, I noticed that the memory test couldn't be stopped by pressing Esc;
only after that one was finished I could press the Del key to enter BIOS. I
tried rebooting NT again and again with no results. Can you please tell me
how
to get rid of that driver and make my Windows NT work again, then I'll be
sure to
throw away the NetScroll---- mouse and its software to avoid a heart attack.
I can boot 95 from another harddisk and work with the NT harddisk as slave
or secondary. By the way, I've also installed the software in 95, here I
didn't get any lock, but my pointer speed is always the same (the lowest
possible) even if I change it. And I'm not on TrueColor display. And scroll
by wheel doesn't work on IE5.5 though it works on Windows Explorer. If I
switch to Word 97 mode, the reverse happens, works on IE, not on WE.
Thanx for any helpful reply, your mere compassion will be also welcome
