Since I upgraded to Netscape 4.7, whenever I shut Netscape down, the program looks like it exits fine, but if I do Crtl+Alt+Del, Netscape is still running in the background. If I go to shut down Windows 98, Win 98 hangs on shutdown and I have to do Crtl + Alt + Del to end the Netscape program still running in the background. Any ideas?
Thanks.
this is a common thing that its been doing it seems, keeps parts of itself resident so that it can quickly be reopened, i think IE used to do that, or still does, but instead of closing it by clicking the "x" in the corner, try going to file..exit, since this closes all the windows, i assume that it shuts down Netscape's thread as well
Karl
kb244@bellsouth.net
<a href=
