I am running mandrake 7.0 and have x set for a resolution of 1024x768. It runs fine. I got linux running last night with my adsl and I couldn't ask for anything better. When I tried surfing the web with netscape (the version included with mandrake 4.7 I think) all the text on the web page was displayed with microfont!! I tried adjusting the size of the font in the view menu, but the options were greyed out. So I thought if I changed the resolution of the desktop to a lower one, 800x600 the font would be bigger. Unfortunately that was not the case. The desktop would not fit in the window and the display font never changed.

any help would be appreciated...

fenris
fenris@hotmail.com
