netscape communicator 4.7 won't work

Every time I turn on NC4.7 or request a page - like

http://www.tek-tips.com

(or anything else for that matter) it just sits there, and looks like it's downloading, but it really isn't I know my internet connection is live b/c we're going out over a LAN. Maybe it's proxy settings?

Any suggestions? How much water would there be in the ocean if it weren't for sponges?

It most liekly is PROXY settings or GATEWAY settings check with your administrator. Klae

My 4.7 did the exact same thing A LOT!! I just had to close it down in the task manager and restart it again. It usually worked then. Very strange problem though.

P.S. I dont run on a LAN, just normal desktop on it's own. Chris MacPherson
