Hello,

Supopse I want to (and I want to!) run Netscape on a machine with no keyboard, just a screen. I do have a self made server running on that machine which can (command line)execute programs for me.

I can start netscape simple by executing command line "netscape",
I can also control this netscape from distance with the command "netscape -remote 'openURL(BUT this only works if you are logged in on your proxy server ! So what happens is that I get a pop-up box (on the screen of the machine with no keyboard input) that asks for userid and password.

Is there any way for me to do this from distance ? Can I start Netscape command line with userid and password for the proxy server as arguments ? (I believe not) Is there a file I can put it in ? Can I give my url the userid and password as arguments ?

Please help me, all tips are more than welcome

The Muppeteer.
