Is there something I need to do to use bmp's in Netscape. The reason I ask is that I have a little thing I am using to learn and to test some things. It is basically an image switching script. When I use .gif files for the images everything works just fine in IE and NS but when I switch to bmp files for the images the broken image thing is displayed in NS. The image is inside an if that makes any difference.

Anyone have any ideas? [sig]
Crystal
crystals@genesis.sk.ca

--------------------------------------------------
Most browsers can only display .GIFs and .JPGs. If possible, try saving your .BMP file as a .GIF in your image editing program.

Hope this helps.

Just did that, thanks a bunch. I totally forgot that limitation.

I wonder why IE can display the bmp's. :) [sig]
Crystal
crystals@genesis.sk.ca

--------------------------------------------------
