Hi all,
Slightly newbie-esque question here I suspect, I have just downloaded Netscape 7 (never really used Netscape before).
We use MS Proxy server on our office network here and I set this in the Netscape preferences. As far as I could see, the browser is supposed to ask me for my proxy auth details when it runs for the first time, just like Internet Explorer. However when I start Netscape it doesn't ask me for any auth details and just displays the message:
HTTP Error 407
407 Proxy Authentication Required
You must authenticate with a proxy server before this request can be serviced. Please log on to your proxy server, and then try again.
Please contact the Web server's administrator if this problem persists.
Now is there any way I can manually set my proxy username/pw? Why doesn't it ask me for them automatically?
