Netscape 6.x and table problems

Hi there,

Can anyone have a peek at a few test pages I've made for a site in development.

The tables are all messed up in NN 6.x browsers

Why?

and

http://www.smallworldgraphics.com/bethtest/large_thumb_default.htm

Clearly, I am doing something wrong!

I found this bit of info at:

I changed my doctype and lo and behold the tables line up fine.

I have a new question regarding doctypes and I will start a new thread on that.
