netscape 6.1 not receiving email

I recently upgraded to netscape 6.1 and am unable to receive email on my regular email. I have contacted my DSL but to no avail. according to them i have email service but yet i am unable to recieve my email. i have even attempted sending myself email but not working. HELP ME PLEASE. I have also made a point of scanning my computer for possible viruses but viruses were found
