Netscape 6.1 Navigation issue

When using Netscape 6.1 on my website I cannot get it to navigate at all. The site uses asp files and when I click on the back, forward or reload buttons(on the navigation toolbar) - it prompts me to download the file(the asp file that is) when it should just be displaying it. This doesn't occur on 6.2 version of Netscape so I am wondering what could be wrong - my site or version 6.1. The content-type of the asp's is set to text/html. Any help is appreciated.
