Ok so what am I doing stuffing a card like that in a desktop? Eh, I'd put a V8 in a pinto if it was all I had.

At any rate, I have a Netraid 3Si and an Intel D845GBV Mainboard. Yes the board is up to date on the bios. The Netraid beeps (LOUDLY) whenever it is installed. Of course it works fine on my friends old P3. Obviously the Beep is some sort of error code but what it means seems to be a secret. Would appreciate any ideas.

Thanks

Do you see anything on the screen? What it could be is that it is expecting the old raid array setup (set in the raid bios) and when it boots its not detecting it. So its beeping to tell you somthing is wrong with your array. Have you tried clearing out the old raid settings and making your new raid setup?

Good questions. I moved the card to another PC and set up a new array. I believe I have some odd incompatability with this particular Mainboard and Card. CTRL-M is supposed to take you into the NetRaid's Bios. This works fine on other machines but not on the one I want to use it in. (naturally) I can clear the bios on another machine and delete the array but I cant reconfigure on the machine I want. Naturally, XP see's and installed the card fine. I thought this might have been a bios issue but that's been updated. When I have time, I'm going to see if there is a firmware update for the card itself but I've been busy with work lately.

Thanks
