I am trying to get Windows Services for UNIX (Server for NFS) running on a Windows NT 4.0 HP Server. The Server for NFS service won't start with an error "The Portmap service did not start as it could not register on port UDP 111....". I have researched as to what is running on UDP 111 and it looks like our NetRaid has a third party portmapper program (Portserv.exe) which is registered to UDP 111. Is there any suggestions to eliminate this conflict so I can get NFS services running?
