Can anyone pin-point what this relates to SPECIFICALY. Sun have been dancing around this for days. The full text coming into root mail is :-
Netpr: Cannot open connection to <ps033lj0>exec exit fault

This is a printer to which lp has printed to earlier in the day. Suddenly print services stop. The printer is an HPLJ5Si with loads of memory, and an Extended Systems box attached. The printer/ES box have been rebooted with no success.
Any Clues?

Check to see whether or not your using the tcp protocol. If you are, netpr has a bug that causes it to crash when issued with -P tcp...

Anyone know if there is a fix?

Alex
odo@cs.earlham.edu
