I have a multi office IPSEC VPN setup with PPTP connections to both routers. The problem router is a Netopia 9100, the other router is a Netopia 7200.
I used to be able to connect via a windows XP (home) to the Netopia 9100, in fact I did so this morning.
The series of events is as follows:
Internet goes down at the office with the 9100 for about an hour.
I have the lan operator report the DSL modem.
Internet comes back up within the office.
The IPSEC tunnel between the two offices comes up.
I can not VPN via PPTP into the 9100.
I can VPN into the 7200.
I can VPN into the 7200 and then open a second VPN session on my machine and connect to the 9100 via PPTP (and making the connection to the first 7200 router. This proves the router is working correctly and the VPN's are setup right.
No matter what I do, i get the 619 Port closed error.
Any suggestions?
I'm focusing in on the DSL provider or the DSL modem which is only passing traffic, not NAT'ing. I verified this.
Stuck scratching my head on this........
