Netherland - dial up requirement

Hello ..

Have an acquantence that is going to the Netherlands for training next week. She was told that she would need a special adapter to be able to connect to the internet while out of the country. Can anyone speak to what (if any) special considerations need to be made.

I guess there are three things to consider...


(1) Mains power adaptor and plug to suit.

(2) Telephone adaptor to fit Dutch telco socket.

(3) Obtain telephone number of local ISP.

(4) Setup new DUN connection for 3 above or international
number to dial ISP back home.
